WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT THE SARASOTA DREAM CENTER

Dream Center brings love and compassion to the homeless. It was a Tuesday night gathering at the Sarasota Dream Center, home of Gifts from God Ministries. About 50 homeless and disadvantaged people were enjoying a free dinner. By Sunday evening, more than 300 others will likely have gathered at the center that day for not only a meal but medical care and haircuts… Sarasota Herald Tribune, April 26, 2008

“We have never been to a place that shows the kind of love we see at the Dream Center. The people serving here give us hope… James and Pam, Sarasota Homeless

“The Apple family lost control of maintaining their home in recent years while coping with medical crisis…Through an outreach it calls Adopt-A-Block, volunteers from the Sarasota Dream Center have repaired a house that project coordinator Jamie Leigh describes as “barely repairable”. Apple says “what happened here has changed my family completely”…  Sarasota Herald Tribune, April 9, 2008

“Gifts from God Ministries provide a loving environment for individuals and families in need throughout Sarasota and Manatee counties. The programs at the Dream Center offer a hand up – not a hand out…  The East County Observer, Dec. 6, 2007

Every business and church in our city should be supporting what is happening at the Dream Center. They are doing what needs to be done.” Tom Papania, author and internationally known conference speaker
