Volunteer Opportunities
WEEKLY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDIVIDAULS, FAMILIES AND SMALL GROUPS. NO R.S.V.P. REQUIRED
As a perfect introduction we would suggest you start by coming to the Dream Center any Sunday 3:00 – 5:00 PM. No reservation is needed. You will be blessed as you witness and participate in our 9 year old ”Church in the Park” outreach service. It is an outdoor service for the homeless and others with Worship, teaching, various support ministries and a hot meal for needy in our community.
We also have an outdoor large group Bible Study and free meal every Monday and Tuesday night beginning at 5:00 PM.
Every Saturday at 9:30-noon, we have a powerful new outreach opportunity called “Adopt-A-Block”. We join with volunteers from all over our area to reach out to our neighbors in the Newtown area. Again this is something you will learn about best by simply coming any Saturday. Saturday we also have a food pantry and clothing outreach during the same time slot as “Adopt-A-Block”.
The Dream Center is on the North side of 17th Street, One Block West of Hwy 301 in Sarasota. It is the new green building with the property running from 17th to 18th Street. You can’t miss it!
